MicheLee Puppets empowers lives through the art of puppetry. As Florida’s only educational puppetry organization, MicheLee Puppets has played a major role in the Central Florida community as a creator of art that produces social change. Since 1985, we have developed more than 80 original, issue-based theatrical and video/film productions reaching more than 2.3 million PreK-12th grade students, their teachers and families. Our productions have made a profound impact in the lives of young people regarding critical topics like divorce, child abuse, bully prevention, healthy lifestyles, literacy and more. Through the powerful art of puppetry, we promote respect, responsibility and positive choices among children and youth locally, regionally and nationally.

Discover Math and Science/LIVE
(STEAM Education for PreK-Kindergarten)
This LIVE show is packed with math and science concepts for PreK – 1st grade. Students travel around the sun to visit winter, spring, summer and autumn.
Winter introduces the difference between 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional shapes as we discover a circle, sphere, and triangle. Then students explore the concepts of “over,” “under,” and “around.”
Spring combines 2-dimensional shapes to explore the relationship between bees and flowers. Students pretend to be bees spreading pollen and drinking nectar.
Summer takes students to the beach where they discover a 3-dimensional cone, explore the concepts of “more,” “less,” and “most,” then participate in addition and subtraction.
Autumn brings precipitation, introduces a 2-dimensional rectangle, a 3-dimensional cylinder, and provides students with a close up look at how ants help plants to grow.

MicheLee Puppet’s Discover Math and Science set requires an area that is a minimum of 10 feet wide and 8 feet deep.
This program needs an intimate setting. Libraries and media centers are great. An area such as a cafetorium, auditorium, multipurpose room WILL NOT work well unless the children are on the stage.
MicheLee Puppets’ Discover Math and Science program is available in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia Counties.
A GREAT VALUE at $400 for up to 3 back-to-back performances
Cancellation Policy – If a School needs to cancel a performance by MicheLee Puppets, Inc., the School must notify MicheLee Puppets of the cancellation, in writing, at least two (2) business days prior to the scheduled performance date in order to receive a full refund of the funds paid by the School to MicheLee Puppets. If the cancellation is within the two (2) day period, the funds paid to MicheLee Puppets shall be forfeited by the School. Additionally, MicheLee Puppets reserves the right to cancel a performance. If MicheLee Puppets elects to cancel a performance, MicheLee Puppets will attempt to reschedule the cancelled performance with the School at a mutually convenient and appropriate time. If it is not possible to reschedule the performance, the funds paid by the School to MicheLee Puppets will be refunded to the school in full. In the event of a natural disaster (e.g., hurricane, flood, etc.) forcing the closure of the School, MicheLee Puppets will not require the two (2) business day advance cancellation notice.
Further, in the event of a natural disaster resulting in closure of the School and the cancellation of the performance, MicheLee Puppets will attempt to reschedule the cancelled performance with the School at a mutually convenient and appropriate time. If it is not possible to reschedule the performance, a full refund of the funds paid by the School to MicheLee Puppets will be issued. In no event shall MicheLee Puppets be responsible for the payment to the School of more than the funds paid by the School to MicheLee Puppets.
