A Good Day for Pancake/LIVE

A Good Day for Pancake/LIVE (Social Emotional Learning – Bully Prevention for grades PreK – 2nd) When a friend is bullied at school, Pancake the Pig doesn’t know how to help. As the bullying gets worse, Pancake and his friends soon learn the difference between tattling and reporting, the definition of bullying behavior, and how to stand together to stop the bullying. A Good Day for Pancake/LIVE encourages empathy and demonstrates to young audiences how to go from bystanders to Upstanders. Featuring engaging music and cuddly puppet characters, the show provides interaction with youngsters as they laugh and sing along with Pancake and his friends. Children are engaged in call and response and learn songs about reporting (not tattling) bullying behavior. Together they learn valuable lessons in bully prevention. In-School Performance

Discover Math and Science/LIVE (STEAM Education for PreK-Kindergarten) This LIVE show is packed with math and science concepts for PreK – 1st grade. Students travel around the sun to visit winter, spring, summer and autumn. Winter introduces the difference between 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional shapes as we discover a circle, sphere, and triangle. Then students explore the concepts of “over,” “under,” and “around.” Spring combines 2-dimensional shapes to explore the relationship between bees and flowers. Students pretend to be bees spreading pollen and drinking nectar. Summer takes students to the beach where they discover a 3-dimensional cone, explore the concepts of “more,” “less,” and “most,” then participate in addition and subtraction. Autumn brings precipitation, introduces a 2-dimensional rectangle, a 3-dimensional cylinder, and provides students with a close up look at how ants help plants to grow. You may have up to 3 back-to-back performances on the same day, each up to 60 students A Digital Teacher’s Activity Guide and Parent’s Activity Guides in English and Spanish are included
